Your Zodiac sign, also called your sun sign, is simply the position of the sun in your horoscope at the moment of your birth. The complete horoscope includes the planets, the astrological Houses, and the aspects between planets. That's a whole lot more.

     Therefore, predictions based only on your Zodiac sun sign can't be very precise. Still, they give some general clues, since the sun is almost as important in the horoscope as it is in the sky above us.

     It shows your situation and sentiment when you're not involved in other things, for example when you rest or are unoccupied by something special.

     A 2012 astrological prediction based only on what Zodiac sign your sun occupies can only be vague and incomplete. It may also be completely wrong, if other ingredients in your horoscope contradict it.

Libra 2012 Horoscope

2012 is particularly eventful for those born in mid-October, because of Saturn at the end of Libra in the New Year horoscope. They can expect to be heavily burdened by duties to partners – in love, in business, and in other fields of life.

     These obligations weigh heavily on you, but you agree with them, which makes the burden easier to carry. But it does limit your options considerably in 2012. Again – it's particularly true for those born in mid-October, and not that much for other Libra.

     The opposition aspect to Jupiter in Taurus shows that the duties to partners prove quite costly, at least in such a way that they create obstacles for profitable opportunities appearing. They also generate certain costs. That's true for every Libra, at some point during the year. Income and other benefits are harder to come by than usual.

     Saturn also has a trine aspect to Neptune in Aquarius of the 2012 horoscope. This suggests that the duties have their greatest reward in what realizations and new perspectives on life they bring. You learn things that open new doors. What is revealed may not come in handy right now, but definitely in the future.

     Those born in September will find themselves involved in activities that they would prefer to do without. They learn a lot from them, profound things that are of value for life, but still they are reluctant to engage in those events. Some of them they can escape, but not others.      That's because of the opposition aspect to Uranus and the moon in Aries of the 2012 New Year horoscope. It has some effect on all Libra, but especially for those born in September.

     Most Libra will experience many changes in their lives during 2012, which is indicated by the sextile aspect to Mercury and the Moon Node in Sagittarius. It's a process towards increased independence, accomplished through negotiations, clever ideas, and a general direction of their lives in this period. It's particularly evident to those born in the beginning of October, but really something happening more or less to every Libra.
