ARIES Compatibility
Two contender meet. They're very much alike in their basic drive – the eagerness for a challenge. It's an adventurous and eventful relation, but one wonders if they can ever relax in it. On the other hand, neither of them is patient enough to lean back for any length of time. The relation will last as long as the challenge of it does. When they break up, it's quite noisy and none of them is very eager to stay friends. Their fathers are not that tolerant of one another. If they care about their children's relation – and that's far from certain – they might sort of compete about being the most influential. But most likely, they doubt that the relation of their children will last, and they think that's just as well.

TAURUS Compatibility
The contender meets the settler. This is normally not that likely to last. Aries is far too impatient and Taurus not at all comfortable with too much spontaneous action. If they find some way of working it out, it's by mainly living very separate lives, where the time spent together is when none of them is involved in anything else. They can be mutually inspirational – but the question is if they can appreciate and admit it. If they do stay together for a long time, it's probably because they more or less have to, for one reason or other. That's a relation with a number of conflict, of course, but mutual affection can still evolve. Their fathers are not likely to enjoy each other's company, the few times they meet. GEMINI Compatibility
The contender meets the entertainer. Both are restless and spontaneous, but in different ways: Aries is serious, with an aggressive edge, whereas Gemini is playful, mainly in it for the laugh. One needs a challenge, the other amusements. They are likely to wind up teasing and getting on each other's nerves. That can still please them, so to their surprise it can happen that they stay together for quite some time. If they break up, it's surely because they started to get bored and found something more exciting elsewhere. Their fathers tend to interfere frequently, often adding to the tension, but they differ: The Gemini father is fun to have around, whereas the Aries father seems mainly to cause trouble.

CANCER Compatibility
The contender meets the benefactor. The latter might give the impression of yielding, but that's an illusion. Cancer is a cardinal sign, the motherly power, who insists on protecting also those who don't want to be protected. Aries certainly doesn't want to. VIRGO Compatibility
The contender meets the scrutineer. Aries is impulsive and Virgo is definitely not. Everything has to be considered beforehand, so lots of things just won't get done. Aries is far too impatient for that. But they make an excellent team, if heading in the same direction, complementing each other. Aries needs to be the leader of the duo, but by clever manipulation Virgo can still set the goal. If they break up, it's most probably Aries taking off and forgetting to come back. LIBRA Compatibility
The contender meets the conscience. Both are cardinal signs, which means they want to lead. Libra is convinced of leading by compromise and reasoning, which is not always the case. Aries isn't much for compromising. It's only if they have a mutual goal that they are able to cooperate at length. If so, they can become quite loyal and that may even turn into passion. Otherwise, they prefer to be apart. So do their fathers, who are quick to judge one another. The Libra father is full of advice for the children, but the Aries father mostly can't be bothered. If the children's relation ends, it's most likely because they ceased to agree on some issue, which doesn't even have to be a major one.

SCORPIO Compatibility
The contender meets the perturber. Aries is easy to upset and Scorpio can't resist doing so frequently, if not constantly. Still, they are excited by one another. Their relation can be a thrill. They are mystified by their mutual attraction, as are most people around them. Their relation can outlast anyone's expectation, especially their own. If they break up, it's probably Aries taking off by impulse and being too proud to return. Their fathers complicate matters more than needed. Mostly, they are both uncomfortable with one another, although the Scorpio father is best at hiding it.

SAGITTARIUS Compatibility
The contender meets the independent. Both are restless, so the chance of a lasting relation is rather slim. Maybe bonds will be formed and remain if they allow each other to live out their personal quests and adventures. They're not that keen on cooperating as a team, although they can do that with others. Actually, it's a surprise if they are attracted to one another to begin with. But if they sort of get caught by one another, their relation quickly becomes intense, sort of like burning a candle from both ends. If they break up, it's probably for the need of blowing out that fire. Their fathers avoid spending time together. They don't spend much time with their children, either.

CAPRICORN Compatibility
The contender meets the achiever. As a couple they can accomplish great things. Aries has the energy and Capricorn has the persistence. They also try hard to make their relation work. The more they do together, the greater the chance of a lasting romance. They don't mind allowing each other to get involved in different things, but that may end the relation anyway, just by them gliding apart. Their fathers can also, surprisingly, find lots in common and do things together. They may even remain friends if their children separate. The Capricorn father wants to contribute to the children's relation, whereas the Aries father mainly stays out of it.

AQUARIUS Compatibility
The contender meets the philosopher. The latter might find the former exhilarating and try to make the relation work because of that. The Aries, on the other hand, is sure to be intrigued by the other, but that's can raise more frustration than curiosity. The contender meets the seeker. It's not an equal relation. Aries definitely leads and Pisces is happy to follow, even at great personal cost. By time, they may form strong bonds and warmth in their relation, if Aries hasn't disappeared before that happens. They may not act it, but there is genuine mutual sympathy and understanding. That can develop into love, also passion. Much to their surprise. Others have a hard time seeing it. Their fathers are estranged, no matter how much the Pisces father tries to make them connect. The Aries father doesn't think it's worth it. They have the same attitudes towards the relation of their children.
